The Solace LSO Lumbar Brace (BB-157) features rigid front and back plates, with lateral support panels. The brace is designed to conform to natural body contouring and the back plate can be heat-molded for a more customized fit. The brace extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to the T9 vertebra. Intracavitary abdominal support is enhanced by the rigid side (lateral) and front panels, helping to reduce the load on the intervertebral discs, thus contributing to improved tissue healing after injuries to the lower back. The wrap-around design with rigid front and back plates and padding is designed to provide lumbar-sacral support and sagittal control. Using an adjustable pressure feature from the string and roller system, the brace perfectly supports the core muscles and lower back while allowing for pendulous abdominal placement. Universal fit, the waist belts can be trimmed to fit Small to 2XL or can be combined with optional belt extensions to fit larger sizes.
