The Dorsal Night Splint (AN39x) is a foot drop splint and recumbent positioning device. It is designed to hold the foot in an upright position, approximating a 90-degree angle while sleeping. The AN39x provides a gentle steady stretch to the plantar fascia, Achilles tendon and calf muscle and is designed to provide strong support and pain relief throughout the night. The lightweight, low profile open heel style produces less heat retention during the night. An air bladder located at the top of the foot adds to the patient’s comfort. The splint can be worn with or without a sock and fits the right or left foot. The adjustable advanced hook and loop system secures the calf and foot straps, is easy to use and results an optimum fit.
