The Lumbar Back Brace V (BA206) features a back plate combined with rigid front and lateral support panels. The heat-moldable rigid back plate is shaped to conform to the natural body contour from the sacrococcygeal junction to the T9 vertebra. The rigid lateral and front panels provide stable intracavitary abdominal pressure, reducing the load on the intervertebral discs and promoting better tissue healing after lower back injuries. The wrap-around design with universal fit and padding combines the rigid back plate with a rigid front panel to provide lumbar-sacral support and sagittal control. The brace uses an adjustable string and roller system to support the lower back and core muscles while allowing proper abdominal placement. Universal-sized waist belts can be trimmed to fit Small to 2XL or combined with an optional belt extension to fit for larger size
